TASTING NOTES

The aromas of red fruits intertwine with floral and spicy notes on an elegant mineral background. On the palate it is tasty, complex and with great tannic structure.

ELABORATION

Varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc.
Traditional fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature.
Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.

Château Bélair-Monange is a site that dates back to Roman times, occupying a prominent place among the great wines of Saint-Émilion.
Château Bélair was renamed Château Bélair-Monange from the 2008 vintage as a tribute to Anne-Adèle Monange, mother of Jean-Pierre Moueix.
In 2012, the Institut National des Appellations d'Origine confirmed the classification of Châteaux Magdelaine and Bélair-Monange as Premiers Grands Crus Classés, before confirming the merger of both vineyards into a single entity (Château Bélair-Monange).
