CURIOSITIES
Château Bélair-Monange is a site that dates back to Roman times, occupying a prominent place among the great wines of Saint-Émilion.
Château Bélair was renamed Château Bélair-Monange from the 2008 vintage as a tribute to Anne-Adèle Monange, mother of Jean-Pierre Moueix.
In 2012, the Institut National des Appellations d'Origine confirmed the classification of Châteaux Magdelaine and Bélair-Monange as Premiers Grands Crus Classés, before confirming the merger of both vineyards into a single entity (Château Bélair-Monange).
