Production and aging:
Dominio de Valdepusa Syrah is made from one of the oldest Syrah vineyards in Spain. It is harvested manually, followed by destemming and vatting, where a prolonged maceration of up to 5 weeks is carried out. Finally, it completes its aging with 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels with different uses.
Curiosities:
The main house and the winery of the Dominio de Valdepusa are located in historic buildings from the 18th century. The old Casa de Labor, which today serves as a visitor center.
