Tasting Notes:
- Color : Cardinal very raised with Intense purple tones, very covered of layer, clean and bright.
- Nose : Intense and very elegant, with lively aromas of ripe red and black fruits of the range of cherry, cherry, blackberry and blackberry, among abundant and complex tertiary aromas from its aging in barrel, including licorice, roasted coffee, Vanilla, clove, with an elegant mineral touch of graphite.
- Mouth : Very elegant and velvety, with a lively, expressive and pleasant skeleton of sweet tannins, well balanced with a measure acidity, repeating itself in the retronasal complexity of multiple aromas enjoyed in the nose, red fruit, coffee, nice liquorice roasted.
Elaboration and Aging:
Made with Tempranillo grapes from sandy soils. Centennial plant on free foot of Tinta de Toro variety. Density 1,100 plants per hectare. Age, planted around 1930. Driving in glass. Maximum load of 3,000 kg. Per hectare. Located in the basin of the river Duero in an area with Mediterranean climate with continental influences and an altitude of 650 m above sea level.
The aging is 16 months in barrels.
