Marina Espumante is a sparkling wine made from Muscat of Alexandria grapes. This wine comes from the Alicante area, and more specifically from Bodegas Bocopa, which is located in Petrer. It is a sparkling wine characterised by its freshness, low alcohol content and powerful aromas.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Pale, crystalline and bright. It has a very fine, constant bubble that barely marks the cork.
Nose: Powerful, fine and elegant aroma, where the varietal expression of Muscatel can be appreciated, with citrus and tropical fruit notes.
Palate: In the mouth it is ample, very smooth, balanced and with fruity nuances. Its fine bubbles make it very refreshing.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Alicante.
WINE MAKING: Made with the Moscatel variety.
AGEING: It has a young ageing.
CURIOSITIES: Bodegas Bocopa is the most important wine group not only in Alicante, but also in the whole of the Valencian Community. It owns more than 1,000 hectares of vineyards throughout the province, distributed in 5 wineries: Sax, Petrel, La Romana, Castalla and Cañada.
