Cherry color with purple trim, pretty dense aromas unfold slowly, aromas of raspberries, wild strawberries, ripe fruit always greedy, violet petals, licorice notes, a feeling nice and minty aromas of dry land ... It a wine with a strong mineral character.
 The palate is very fruity, with black fruit and has an imposing structure, with sweet and ripe tannins. Its passage by long silky mouth, with great balance.

Development and Aging

Made from grapes 100% Tinta de Toro vines more than 35 years old San Roman de la Hornija, Villaester, Morales de Toro, Villafranca del Duero and Pego. The harvest begins in September with a quiet maturity and low yields per hectare. Varieties and plots are vinified separately in tanks of different materials and capacities, while the wine is aged in French and American barrels that are renewed by 20% each year. The aging period is 24 months in French oak barrels and new and used amaericano.
