Hermanos Lurton Cuesta Grande is a red wine made from 100% Tinta de Toro grapes. This grape is a variant of the famous Tempranillo, the Spanish red wine grape par excellence that is born in the heart of the Rioja and the Duero River. It is a very aromatic and very fine wine.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: Ripe cherry colour, medium-high robe.
Nose: Expressive aroma of red fruits, cocoa and light spicy notes.
Palate: In the mouth it is round, structured and tannic. Medium intensity, balanced and smooth.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Toro.
WINEMAKING: Made with 100% Tinta de Toro grapes.
AGEING: Aged for 10-12 months in French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES: This plot of Tinta de Toro, located in the heart of the Toro plateau, is goblet trained and planted in deep, stony and poor soils. Organic viticulture is practised here. It is a great terroir of Toro, identified by François Lurton year after year, which produces the most beautiful and elegant expression of the tinta de Toro.
