CATA's notes:
- From color bright cherry red very covered.
- Intense aromas of black and red fruit with balsamic and spicy notes, with mineral nuances in the background.
- In the mouth wide, fleshy, silky, noting the presence of ripe tannins in the mouth.
Elaboration and aging: Made with grapes harvested manually from a selection of vines over 30 years old, located in the Vina Lanciano estate, it is a blend of 87% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo.
Aging: For 12 months in French oak barrels Troncaise and for 7 months in Russian oak barrels from the Caucasus. Refined in bottle for 18 months.
Curiosities: LAN is the Rioja with capital letters. LAN, which was founded in 1972, stands for
Logrono (today La Rioja),
Álava Y
Navarre , the three provinces that make up the most international denomination of origin, La Rioja. A farm of 72 hectares - with vines up to 60 years old - embraced by a meander of the Ebro river, just on the border between the Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa subzones. LAN is committed to the development of wines in balance with nature and is based on sustainable viticulture.
