Lan Crianza 2015

Tasting Notes:

• Color Bright cherry.
• Nose Very intense and elegant perfumed, where the notes of red fruit of the forest predominate like the raspberry, milk and pastry notes, wrapped in elegant touches spicy (black pepper), of vanilla and caramel.
• In mouth Is soft and expressive. They have a very greedy entrance, wrapping the whole mouth and leaving a long and pleasant aftertaste.

Elaboracion Y Crianza:

Made with grapes 95% Tempranillo Y 5% Mazuelo . Selection of grapes from vineyards of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa aged between 10 and 20 years. Clay-calcareous soils, located on steep slopes with good drainage and good sun exposure.

Manual harvesting. Traditional vinification, de-stemming crushed. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Maceration of 15 days, with continuous pumping to obtain an optimal extraction of color.

The aging is done in mixed oak barrels (American and French) during 14 months , followed by 9 months in bottle tuning .

Lan Crianza elaborates it Wineries LAN ( Initials of the three provinces that touch , Logrono , Álava Y Navarre ) In the Rioja Alta, which produces only Crianza wines. In a meander of the river Ebro is the Finca Vina Lanciano with some strains of more than 60 years.
