La Maldita is a project that takes its name from the nickname that many in La Rioja used to refer to the Garnacha. The three wines of La Maldita are made with this variety. Its 40-plus year-old vineyards, planted at an altitude (700 meters) in gravelly soils, are responsible for all the pleasure that comes with every sip of La Maldita Garnacha .
La Maldita Garnacha is a fresh and smooth wine, but with character, like those of yesteryear. Internationally renowned critics such as Robert Parker or José Peñín have fallen for its enormous price-pleasure ratio.
