Tasting Note:
Production and Aging:
Grape Varieties: Mainly Tempranillo, with small amounts of Garnacha, Mazuelo (also known as Carignan) and Graciano. Viña Cubillo Crianza has spent a minimum of 3 years in oak barrels, followed by an additional period of bottle aging before its market launch. This aging time gives it greater complexity and develops its unique characteristics.
Viña Cubillo wines come from a farm called Viña Cubillas. Historically these wines were called Vendimia Especial. It extends over a total area of twenty-four hectares, of which sixteen are Tempranillo, four Garnacha tinta, two Mazuelo and two Graciano.
Curiosities:
The care of the vineyards, the scrupulous selection of the grapes, the aging in Bordeaux oak barrels, within its deep underground galleries and the subsequent aging in bottles, give rise to these wines endowed with the great delicacy of nuances that make up their exceptional "bouquet".
