Tasting Notes:

  • Color: Ruby bright with light amber.
  • Nose: very fine, fresh, light toast aromas of vanilla nose. Very persistent.
  • Taste: Very dry, soft, round and developed.

Development and Aging:

Made with Tempranillo (75%), Grenache (15%), Graciano and Mazuelo (10%), from its own vineyards.

Viña Tondonia was the first house brand and is also, in essence, the main vineyard, a beautiful vineyard of over 100 hectares, located on the right bank of the Ebro river, forming a landscape of alluvium, limestone and poplars, the founder of the winery, Don Rafael Lopez de Heredia y Landeta, planted in the years 1913-1914 in its quest to ensure quality in its origin, the vineyard, where the work is carried out manually.

Aged for 6 years with 2 rackings per year. I clarified with fresh egg whites, unfiltered.
