Development and aging:
Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes from a single vineyard with over 80 years of age, underperforming and very special called Malpuesto by poor configuration.
Vintage in boxes of 15 kg. alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and malolactic fermentation in new barrels with manual punching down.
The breeding is 15 months in new French oak fine grain.
Artevino began his steps in the wine world in the hands of Gonzalo Antón who, with a group of friends and Alava entrepreneurs, built in 1987 Bodegas Izadi in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
In 2000, joining the company of his son, Lalo Anton, drives the marketing abroad, as well as the expansion of the company, under the name Artevino addresses projects Finca Villacreces (DO Ribera del Duero ), Bodegas Vetus (DO Toro and DO Rueda) and Orben (DOCa. Rioja).
The four wineries hold a unique and distinct personality, although they share the same mission: the production of quality wines from domestic varieties in the most emblematic areas of their respective appellations of origin, the most prestigious in Spain.
The meticulous attention to detail, the care and effort when starting any project, are fundamental pillars in each of the wines produced wineries, searching and transmitting the identity of each area, the character of every land, therefore, in it, is its great value.
