  • Belondrade Quinta Apolonia is the most varietal interpretation of the Verdejo of the winery.
  • In the style of the second wines of the Chateaux de Bordeaux, Quinta Apolonia is the second white of Belondrade, a blend of two different wines but of the same varietal: the Verdejo, looking for a different interpretation.
  • Ample, enveloping, glyceric, creamy and unctuous, with a beautiful acidity that gives it the right freshness and persistence of aromas.

Tasting Notes:

  • Of pale yellow color, in the glass it moves with elegance and without haste. Small particles are appreciated floating in the wine, unequivocal sign of its upbringing on its lees without having suffered clarified.
  • The nose is very varietal, with aromas of peach and apricot and some tropical fruit, with a background of wood and lactic aging.
  • The most remarkable thing is, without doubt, its passage through the mouth; unctuous, velvety and with a remarkable acidity. In the first drink, the carbonic acid that we have seen at the beginning is noticed in the tongue, but it quickly fades away providing some freshness. In short, a white wine capable of filling the mouth, which also has a long and persistent finish.
Elaboration and ageing

It is the fruit of an assemblage between one third of wine fermented in cask and two thirds fermented in stainless steel tanks and in concrete egg. It combines the acidity and spark characteristic of Verdejo and the structure and complexity provided by its part fermented in barrel. Aging: 30% first selection of barrels of the first wine BELONDRADE and LURTON 70% of the must from our young vineyards, fermented in stainless steel tanks.

This is the "second vin" of BELONDRADE, following the spirit of the second wines of the Chateaux de Bordeaux and seeking a different interpretation of BELONDRADE and LURTON, fresher and varietal. It bears the name of Didier's eldest daughter and was first produced in 2002.
