Tasting notes:- Sight: red of medium low layer.
- Nose: fruity to blackberry and floral to violet, with memories of background to rosewood.
- Mouth: notes of forest fruit are mixed with smoky notes. Good acidity. Improves as time passes in the glass. Aftertaste of picotas.
Elaboration and ageingThe grapes are transferred to the winery where they are placed in 1,000 kg tanks. Alcoholic fermentation with autochthonous yeasts and temperature control to ensure a slow and smooth process. Once the vinification and maceration has been carried out on each plot, the wine is pressed and transferred to the barrels.
For 12 months the wine remains on lees in used French oak barrels of 225, 400 and 600 litres. Natural malolactic and resting in tank for about 4 months. Slightly clarified before bottling, unfiltered and unstabilised by cold.
