Pago de la Oliva Tonneau Bouquet is an organic red wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. It is the result of the effort to obtain grapes as perfect as possible for long ageing, with great strength and character, thanks to the vines cared for with great dedication.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: Cherry red colour with ruby hues in a fine robe.
Nose: Clean and intense aromas of ripe fruit: cherry, blackcurrant and cassis, with smoky and spicy nuances provided by the fine-grained French oak.
Palate: In the mouth it is fresh and balanced, silky and powerful, very polished tannins, and a long finish full of flavours and aromatic sensations.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León.
WINEMAKING: Made with 100% Tempranillo.
AGEING: Aged in fine grain French oak barrels for 15 months in new 225 and 500 litre barrels.
CURIOSITIES: The grapes for its production come from vineyards planted in poor, deep, clayey soils of limestone origin and low production. Around 13,300 bottles have been produced.
