The winemaker Tomás Postigo is one of the most renowned in the Ribera del Duero region, with an undisputed reputation behind him. From the hands of this great professional come wonders such as Tomás Postigo Verdejo Fermented in Barrel. An extraordinary and unrepeatable wine, with captivating tannins and a very good freshness.
This wine is produced only in exceptional years when the values of the grapes meet the parameters required by the winery to carry out the fermentation in barrels.
Tasting Notes
VISUAL PHASE: It has a beautiful golden color.
OLFACTORY PHASE: Creamy nose in which the aromas of ripe fruit (pineapple in syrup, apricot) and white flowers are combined with the toasty, pastry and nutty notes derived from its ageing. Complex and very well integrated wood.
TASTING PHASE: In the mouth it is very balanced, with enough acidity and a very well measured barrel. It is ample, glyceric, very unctuous, voluminous and structured spicy and with an elegant and intense finish.
Elaboration
Fermented in new French oak barrels and aged for 8 months in new French oak barrels, with periodic battonage in the same barrels.
