Juvé & Camps Singular Xarel-lo is a cava made solely from grapes of the Xarel-lo variety from vineyards in Espiells and Can Rius. The grapes grow in relatively fertile, shallow soils made up of clay and sandstone with a high calcium carbonate content. These characteristics give the cava totally different and particular properties typical of the growing area.
TASTING NOTES:
Apperance: Cava of a beautiful pale yellow colour with continuous effervescence.
Nose: Intense aroma of white fruits and fennel, so characteristic of this grape.
Palate: In the mouth it is very creamy, and its perfectly integrated carbon dioxide caresses the palate, enhancing its splendid texture. With a long and persistent flavour.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Cava.
WINEMAKING: Made exclusively with the Xarel-lo variety.
AGEING: Aged for 36 months.
CURIOSITIES: With a history dating back to 1796, the name Juvé & Camps owes its fame to a cava that, for three decades, has accompanied the celebrations of many Spaniards: Reserva de la Familia. However, this house has many other wines, sparkling and still, made exclusively from grapes from the estate's vineyards.
