Curiosities:
Agusti Torello Mata He is one of the most outstanding actors in the cava universe. He founded in 1950 your own winery in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia , capital of cava. The complexity of its different cuvées is also based on the patient aging in rhymes, and the precise assemblage of wines from the different sub-zones of the Penedès.
To make the cavas, the Torelló family selects exclusively grapes from vines over 30 years old . The importance of the old vines is explained as follows. The deep roots allow the plant and its grapes to enrich themselves with the character of the sub-zones and provide the vine with water from the spring rains, which year after year ensure the regularity and quality of the harvest.
