Since 1997, Maurodos - Bodegas San Roman has 60 hectares of vineyards in Toro planted mostly with Tinta de Toro and Garnacha.
The average age of our vines is 35 years, some of our oldest vines were planted without rootstock because in this area did not affect the phylloxera.
The soils are loose, rocky or sandy as areas with clayey subsoils where the plant can get water in times of drought.
