Tr3smano makes permanent reference to the three dreamers who gave birth to this wine. It also seeks to remind us of the expression of the old Castilian - "trasmano" or "desmano" - in order to identify that which is not within reach of the hand but a little further back, which is out of the way. Everything that is not easy to find and obtain, as it is to make a good wine.

Tr3smano, in synthesis, unites the origin where the essence of a traditionally wine-growing region is born, which has been able to turn roughness into celebration, labour into vigour and land into wine.

The men who are the pillars of Tr3smano all come from a long trajectory in the world of wine, and each one contributes their experience and passion to make Tr3smano a great wine.

After decades dedicated to wine in different parts of the world, a dream united all the protagonists of this wine: to find in Spain some old vineyards, ideal to make a great red wine. Finally, José Ramón Ruiz found a small hill behind Padilla de Duero, in the heart of Ribera del Duero. On the Golden Mile, where the most emblematic wineries of Spain are located. Dominated by a marvellous olive tree over 1500 years old, the dream took shape in an avant-garde winery.

This is how Tr3smano was born. Located in the municipality of Peñafiel, "behind the wheel" of the road that links Peñafiel with its neighbour Quintanilla de Onésimo, near the famous Vacceo de Pintia cemetery, a necropolis that developed between the 4th and 1st centuries B.C. and where there is an old wine press in which, already in the 18th century, the grapes of this estate were traditionally treaded.
