The vineyards
The vineyards of Bodegas Sotero Pintado are owned by the family and authentic centennial jewels from which a high quality grape is obtained. The grape variety of the vineyards is Tinto Fino, planted on foot between 1849 and 1852, vineyards 160 years old and of very low production per vine which makes them of an extraordinary quality. Situated on clayey-lime soil mixed with a ridge and at an altitude of 800 meters.
It is cultivated while maintaining the sustainable agriculture already practiced by its ancestors, to preserve the life of the land and the environment. With this, what they are looking for is the natural balance of the vineyard, with very limited production and low yield to achieve the maximum quality of their wines and their identification with the land.

Faithful to the singular variety with which they are elaborated, they are characterized by being powerful and of marked personality, but also elegant and smooth. In Bodegas Sotero Pintado they have managed to combine tradition and modernity, adapted to the tastes of today's consumer.
