The vineyard: The location of the vineyards at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria offers the perfect conditions for producing such balanced and quality wines. They have 39 hectares of their own, plus 75 controlled hectares, which reflect their work philosophy, respect for the vineyard and nature. From Castillo de Osés they have wanted to dedicate the range of Choza wines to all those who at some point in their lives worked in the fields.
Vinification: Selected manual harvest of 60 Ha. of the 150 Ha. that the winery controls. This wine is made by de-stemming with a fermentation of 6 to 7 days, and then adding the 10-15 days of maceration. All this at a controlled temperature that never exceeds 28 ° C. The aging is done in French and American oak in equal parts during 12 months with periodic rackings. All the barrels are a maximum of 5 years old.
Tasting notes:
View: Clean and very bright. Violet colour, with bluish tones that denote freshness and youth.
Nose: Intense and perfumed. First notes, of carbonic maceration that give way to floral aromas accompanied by fruits of the forest.
Palate: Lively, easy entry, highlighting the flavours of freshly picked fruit.
